North Fork Campground

Buffalo Bill State Park has overnight camping areas. The North Fork Campground is situated on the Shoshone River and has both water view and inland sites. The very clean shower house is located in the North Fork Campground, but campers from any of the park camping locations can use it. Be sure to bring some quarters for the shower. All of the 62 sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Fourteen have water and electric and can be reserved (Make reservations on-line or by calling 877-996-7275). Six sites are designated for tent camping only. Potable water is available at the dump station near the entrance as well as in water hydrants within the campground. In order to provide for all guests, specific sites are accessible, and the parking areas and roadways are paved. In addition, there is a playground for the kids and a great trail for hiking. All in all, this campground is well maintained and has on-site camp hosts available to help in any way they can.
