North Shore Bay Campground

The North Shore Bay Campground is along side the Buffalo Bill Reservoir with several of the 37 sites directly on the shoreline. Nearly every site has a spectacular view of the lake. Seven reservable sites have water and electric hook-ups; all others are non-hook-up, on a first come basis. Five sites are designated for tents only. All of the sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Pit toilets and water spigots are located periodically within the campground. The dump station is near the park entrance and has potable water available. There is also a boat ramp and parking area in North Shore Bay Campground. While we were there, we had a wonderful time walking along the waterfront. I was amazed at the amount of driftwood on the shore. The view was spectacular, to say the least, and the water was very clear. It was quite breezy during the day, and during the night the wind was gusting! I was glad our camper was still attached to the truck. As it was, the whole rig was swaying in the wind!It was quite dramatic! Overall, the campground was clean, quiet, and in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed taking walks, spotting wildlife, and relaxing in the sunshine.
