Glendo Reservoir/State Park provides an excellent day visit or vacation destination. The earth-filled dam is over 2,000 feet long and nearly 170 feet high. The lake provides water for irrigation, recreation, and sport fishing. It is located just over an hour north of Cheyenne, Wyoming, on I-25.
Glendo Reservoir/State Park is a fantastic choice for boating, fishing, camping, swimming and hiking. You have a choice from a variety of campgrounds. RV and tent sites are available. Be near a boat ramp or beach, or be away from the water. Set up in the protection of trees or in full-sun. Stay near a playground or be isolated and on your own. All accommodation options are here.

Bring your watercraft to launch at one of five boat ramps. They are located all around the lake. Hike or bike over 40 miles of trails, relax and watch the abundant wildlife, or search for historical artifacts.  Group Shelters can be rented for your special occasion. Whether you come for the day or stay for two weeks, you are sure to have a great time at Glendo Reservoir/State Park.
