Wind Creek Campground

Click here for Camping Reservations or call 877-996-7275 Also in the western edge of Keyhole State Park, and not far down the road from the Coulter Bay area, is the Wind Creek Campground. We had a little trouble finding this area due to road construction, but once we got there, we had no problems. The winding road hugged the edge of the lake and we saw a variety of water fowl. There were a couple of pit toilet facilities, a public boat ramp (when reservoir is full), a group area, and picnic tables/fire rings. However, there is NO DRINKING WATER in this campground. There are 16 primitive campsites with fire rings and picnic tables scattered in or near the pine trees. You must bring in your own drinking water. The camping is rustic, with no hook-ups, but we saw several people with generators for their coffee makers and other necessities. Services are discontinued on September 30.
