North Red Hills Campground

North Red Hills Campground has picnic tables (some covered) and fire rings at every site. While there are no electric or water hook-ups, there are water spigots throughout the park. Most campers had generators as a power source or they simply made do with batteries. Pit toilets are available and so are a dumpster and dump station for RV tanks. The bare essentials are covered even if you are in a tent without any extras. Accessible sites are plentiful and there are several camping sites along the water’s edge. Even though we didn’t camp next to the water, we had a beautiful view of the lake from our site.  The wide boat ramp has a dock for loading gear and people, while a few boats were moored at the shore. A parking area is designated specifically for boat trailers. A decent sized playground is situated right in the center of the campground so there is easy access for all.
