Summit Lake

Summit Lake makes for a great family vacation destination. Boating, beach bumming, hiking, bird watching, camping and fishing are all available at Summit Lake in Central Indiana. It has a beautiful beach which is perfect for swimming and sunbathing. Area Attractions

Zeigler Woods, located in the southwest corner of Summit Lake State Park, is the only dedicated nature preserve in Henry County. The largely undisturbed wildlife offers a beautiful exhibit of flora and fauna. It is representative of Indiana’s pre-settlement landscape of forested communities. A visit to the preserve is well worth your time.
